The rule for determining what width is to multiply your window's width by 3 to 10. For a very full effect, and to provide more privacy, multiply by 6 or 10. For example, if your curtain rod is 60"W, please purchase 60" x 6 =360" W curtain. 6 times fullness curtains will look better than 3 times fullness curtains and 10 times fullness curtains will look better than 6 times fullness.
