- Premium 3 pass blackout fabric is weaved by 3 layers of fabric. It doesn't use any chemical coating. The front and back layers have your choice of beautiful color and there is a thick black layer fabric in the middle that absorbs the UV. You will not see the black middle layer when you receive the curtain. Imagine the fabric like a sandwich that has the front and back surface layer and the thick black fabric in the middle. Therefore, the fabric quality is thick and durable. Another benefit of the 3 pass blackout curtain is that it looks aesthetic even from outside of the window. If you use the regular blackout curtain that uses the chemical coating, you will see the white coating when you look at the window from outside of the house. With the beautifully made 3 pass blackout curtain, you will see the beautiful curtain color even if you look at it from outside of the window.
